New roommates
The commune downstairs was split up, as the two men moved away. The third adult with her baby wanted to sign a contract for the downstairs apartment, but the landlord let it out from June 1st, plus the two garages that the former inhabitants had rented and used. The mother and baby had five days to move out and empty the apartment and the garages, much of the stuff belonging to the other four adults who had lived in the commune during the last two years. I took the little family to live in my knitting room, emptied that room and tried to make the rest of my apartment baby friendly. Here’s my new roommate Kaarna, just moved in:

The strangest thing is my landlord’s action: The lady offered to find two new inmates for the two empty rooms, and asked to pay half the rent for June, and the full rate after that. The landlord didn’t approve of that, but instead offered free lodging for June to the new family, on the condition that they move in on June 1st. Now they actually pay half the rent for June. He offered the mucky old sheep stable to the young mother, a space that one can’t lock because of the broken door. Now she has all her furniture and other things tucked in there for free, because she actually cleaned out the manure. Talk about unfair behaviour!!!
My dog Namu and her dog Tessu get along very well. Tessu lives outdoors, Namu indoors. Namu loves the baby, acts as the perfect mother, and even thinks she’s pregnant now!

Namu even checks his diapers:

Now it looks as if they’ve found a house to live in from August, a lovely little house with a beach of its own. Let’s hope it comes true!
