Happy Midsummer, Glad Midsommar, Hyvää Juhannusta!
This is the peak of the summer and start of most summer holidays in Scandinavia. It’s a general holiday, and many people have arrived at their summer cottages yesterday, Thursday. The correct day would be tomorrow, but the prudent Finns have moved it to a Friday permanently.
Many Finnish offices and workplaces are closed now for the whole July. If you come here, expect to find all the tourist places open and the normal ones closed 
I will go to a party tonight, a traditional Midsommarfest with violin players and traditional dances. I believe I will meet Mitzknitz there.
I’ve spun some test yarn on my spindle from the German candy-colored superwash roving yesterday. I’ve also joined Mystery Stole 3 and am pondering on what yarn to use.

Vi har kommit till midsommaren nu, men jag behöver inte upplysa mina svenska läsare vad det gäller.
Jag har spunnit lite godisfärgad tysk yll på min slända igår, och gått med i Mystery stole 3. Jag gräver i mitt garnförråd och stickar provlappar.
